Seating pouffe c.1990s


The inset panel of the Humpty (ie. seating pouffe) is hand smocked with 2 different variations - both are handstitched.

The background currently here is one stitched as a kit & now pending to make into a book cover.

    Fine cotton lawn - ecclesiastical vest All hand stitched including ribbon 'stays' at sides
  • Cushion c.1960-70
      Knots worked on satin backing. Although having the appearance of earlier work, the fabric is more recent (as too the cushion inner)
